"Had surgery on 23rd Sept 06 and can't recommend Viewpoint highly enough. From the initial consultation which was very detailed and informative, through to the procedure and aftercare, there is very little to find fault with. I had medium myopia and astigmatism in both eyes and needed glasses all the time. I had surgery at 5pm Saturday and, after being checked, drove 60 miles home the following morning with no problems. My eyesight has continued to improve since then and is now better than 20/20 in both eyes. The procedure was wavefront-guided LASIK and was explained fully to me before hand. Insurance

Although most insurance companies do not cover corrective eye surgery, Viewpoint is recognised by at least one of the major Insurance company, MEDICASH as thier preferred provider of laser eye surgery. Patients subscribing to Medicash may be able to claim a proportion of their costs from Medicash if they undergo surgery at Virewpoint. Please consult Medicash for more details.

Financing

Tax Benefits

While corrective eye surgery is elective surgery and not covered, it may be tax deductible depending on your filing status. Please consult your accountant. Many patients choose to use their Tax refund or inheritance to pay for surgery, an investment that can last a lifetime.
