Dry Eyes Management Seminar for Optometrists – 23rd January 2008
The seminar on Dry Eyes was very well attended and focused on recent developments in Dry Eye Management. This condition affects almost 10% of the population and is becoming increasingly common. The seminar also allowed the Optometrists to have a ‘hands –on’ experience of inserting punctual plugs – an increasingly easy and practical way to manage dry eyes in the community. Almost half the Optometrists present indicated their intent to start offering this service to their clients.
